Thinking back, I absolutely loved Florence. It's hard to digest it all when you're traveling through so many cities, but looking at these photos reminds me of all the beautiful sights. I love the pig statue, you rub it's nose for good luck, and the Piazza Michelangelo was a nice surprise after a simple bus ride. I'm tempted to say Ponte Vecchio was my favorite bridge in Italy, but it's in competition with the Rialto in Venice. Stay tuned for those Venice photos next! A bientôt!

Now I have to be honest, leaving Rome was pretty hard but our first day in Florence was action packed. After 1,000 stairs we had explored most of the city center. The views were incredible and it was a beautiful sunny day. Climbing up the Duomo and marveling at the awesomeness of Brunelleschi from the inside out was an experience I'll never forget. And walking past that last judgement scene? That's some intense stuff. Wrapped up the day with an adorable Christmas Market at Piazza Santa Croce. More photos of beautiful Florence to come soon.
